Why does a website need ongoing maintenance?

Because software, standards and regulations all change underneath a website that looks perfectly fine from the front.

Like a car, a website needs regular check-ups to keep running well. Left alone, plugins go out of date, security gaps open up, content drifts out of accuracy and accessibility standards move on without you. We keep on top of all of it, so you don’t have to think about it.

What’s included in a Website Care Plan?

Eleven things, grouped into keeping the site healthy, developing it, and keeping you informed.

Review your website: We’ll make sure everything is working properly, ensure your website follows best practices, and continually identify areas to improve.

Long-term strategy: We’ll learn your organisation’s long-term objectives and make sure your website fits with your overall goals.

Check-in with you: A bi-annual strategy meeting for the higher-level objectives and a regular monthly or bi-monthly check-in meeting to monitor progress.

Keep you in the loop: About new rules, policies, or legislation that might affect your website.

Watch what AI says about you: Every month we check what the major AI assistants tell people about your organisation for the questions your members ask most. If something’s wrong, outdated, or newly attributed to you in error, you’ll hear about it from us — with a plain-English note on what we’d do next.

Clean up your content: Detailed content reviews every six months make sure everything’s up-to-date and outdated pages or blogs are archived correctly.

Add new pages or sections: As you need them.

Build new functionality: Like a Private Professional Network, member area, video library or other features you’d like.

Make your site easier to use: We’ll speed it up and make navigation a breeze.

Improve your site’s look and feel: We’ll improve the UX and UI (User Experience and User Interface), so visitors want to stay and look around.

Improve Content Searching: Using content tags to make your website easy to search so your members can quickly find the information they need.

How do the monthly hours work?

You get an allocation of hours each month, you decide what they’re spent on, and anything you don’t use rolls over for up to twelve months.

So a quiet spring doesn’t go to waste — you can save it up for a bigger piece of work in the autumn. We reassess the allocation every six months to make sure it still matches what you need.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. There’s no minimum term and no tie-in. If it stops working for you, you can stop.

We’d rather keep clients because they want to stay than because a contract says they have to.

How quickly do you respond?

Usually within 24 hours, and certainly within 48.

You’re not raising a ticket into a queue. You’re emailing the person who will do the work.

What does a Website Care Plan cost?

Website Care Plans start from £400 per month, and the exact figure depends on how many hours you need.

Every organisation is different, so we build a custom plan rather than selling tiers. Your pricing is based on exactly what you need — no paying for things you’ll never use. There’s no minimum contract, and unused hours roll over for up to twelve months.

Do you monitor what AI says about us?

Yes. Every month we check what the major AI assistants tell people about your organisation for the questions your members ask most, and it’s included in your Care Plan at no extra cost.

If something’s wrong, outdated, or newly attributed to you in error, you’ll hear about it from us — with a plain-English note on what we’d do next.

The environment keeps changing. Guidance gets revised, assistants get updated, and an answer that was right in January may not be right in June. Keeping an eye on it is exactly the kind of ongoing, easy-to-forget task the Care Plan exists to take off your desk.

Don’t worry about your website anymore. Let us handle it so you can focus on what you do best.

What healthcare membership organisations say

“Before working with More Time To, I was running out of time for things, but now I have time freed up which is really helpful. I had been doing the website management and programming off the side of my desk, but it has to be done with someone like Chris, who understands it and understands the environment that is changing so quickly.”

NICOLE PEARCE

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION, OBESITY CANADA
“The speed of response and quality of work is excellent, consistent, creative and rapid. Working with More Time To is a pleasure. Chris goes above and beyond, and crucially for a third sector organisation, he handles sensitive content thoughtfully; substantial trust has developed during the years we have worked together.”

SHEREE BRYANT

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS, EASO
