What is an AI Visibility Check?

An AI Visibility Check is a one-off review of what AI assistants currently tell people about your organisation, and why. It costs £450, or £750 bundled with a Website Check-Up.

It’s the same idea as our Website Check-Up, pointed at a new problem. We ask the major AI assistants the questions your members are actually asking, record what comes back, and show you exactly where your organisation stands. Sometimes the news is good and you simply didn’t know. Often it isn’t, and you needed to.

Why does it matter what AI says about us?

Your guidance, quoted incorrectly. We regularly see assistants state a position, a threshold or a training requirement and attribute it to a membership organisation — using a version that was superseded years ago. Your name carries the error, and you have no way of knowing it’s happening.

Someone else answering your question. On the topics where you are the recognised authority, assistants often cite a commercial health site or a news article instead. Not because your work is weaker, but because it’s harder for a machine to read.

Members who never arrive. If someone gets a partial answer about your CPD courses or your congress without ever visiting, your engagement falls for reasons your analytics will never explain.

What happens during an AI Visibility Check?

Seven stages, starting with your questions and ending with a plan. You’ll have the report within 48 hours of us starting.

A friendly chat. We start by understanding what your members ask, what your organisation is the authority on, and what would worry you most to see misquoted.

What AI says today. We put those questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and record the answers verbatim.

Accuracy review. We flag every factual error, outdated position and misattribution — with the exact wording, so you can see it for yourself.

Where it’s coming from. Which sources the assistants are drawing on. Frequently it’s an old PDF, a third-party summary, or a page you’d forgotten was published.

Why your site isn’t the source. The technical reasons your own content isn’t being used — guidance locked in PDFs, key detail behind a member login, pages that machines struggle to read.

Your access decision. Whether to allow AI systems to read your content at all is a real strategic choice for a membership organisation, especially one with paywalled member resources. We lay out the trade-off; you decide.

Forward plan. A step-by-step plan to correct what’s wrong and make your organisation the source that gets used.

Can you make AI say the right thing about us?

No, and neither can anyone else. There is no submission form, no correction process and no way to guarantee what an assistant will say about you.

What we can do is find out what’s being said, identify why the wrong source is being used instead of yours, and fix the reasons your own content isn’t being picked up. That improves your chances considerably. It isn’t a guarantee, and you should be sceptical of anyone who offers one.

Should we block AI from reading our content?

That’s a real strategic decision, and it’s different for every organisation.

Training crawlers, retrieval crawlers and user-triggered fetchers are separate systems with separate controls — so you can decline to be part of a training corpus while remaining fully citable in live answers. If you have paywalled member resources, that distinction matters a great deal. We lay out the trade-off and you decide.

What does an AI Visibility Check cost?

An AI Visibility Check is £450. Bundled with a Website Check-Up it’s £750, saving £100.

As with the Website Check-Up, if you decide to work with us further we deduct the cost from your future projects.

Why use More Time To for this?

We work exclusively with healthcare membership organisations, so we understand what’s at stake when clinical guidance gets misrepresented.

This isn’t a marketing exercise about ranking higher. It’s about protecting the accuracy of what you publish and the authority you’ve spent years building. And as always — no jargon, no lectures, and a plan you can actually act on.

No. There’s no submission process or correction mechanism for AI assistants, and nobody can guarantee placement. What we can do is find what’s wrong, fix the reasons your content isn’t being used, and improve your chances.

SEO is about ranking in a list of links. This is about what an assistant says in a written answer, which source it draws on, and whether the version attributed to you is current. The technical work overlaps; the outcome you’re aiming at is different.

It depends on what you publish. Training, retrieval and user-triggered access are controlled separately, so you can stay out of training data while remaining citable in live answers. We’ll explain the trade-off and you decide.
